What Deepgram Does

Deepgram is the leading speech-to-text and Voice AI infrastructure platform, serving 1,300+ enterprises and 200,000+ developers including NASA, Twitch, NVIDIA, Twilio, ServiceNow, and Citi. Founded in 2015, Deepgram raised $130 million in a Series C round in January 2026 at a $1.3 billion valuation led by AVP, with participation from Alkeon, In-Q-Tel, Madrona, Tiger Global, Wing, Y Combinator, BlackRock, ServiceNow Ventures, SAP, Citi Ventures, Stanford University, and University of Michigan.

Total funding exceeds $215 million. The Nova-3 speech model delivers 95%+ accuracy across 36 languages at 200ms latency, the production standard for real-time voice agents.

Deepgram also acquired OfOne (YC-backed AI voice platform) in January 2026, expanding into AI voice for restaurants and quick-service drive-thru markets. The Voice Agent API, launched in October 2025, is a unified speech-to-speech service combining STT, LLM orchestration, and TTS in a single API call at $4.50 per hour, dramatically reducing architectural complexity for AI phone agent builders.

Transcription pricing starts at $0.0043/minute for pre-recorded audio and $0.0059/minute for streaming. On-premise and edge deployment options serve regulated industries with data sovereignty requirements including healthcare, finance, and government.
