Matroid

Matroid is a computer vision company founded in 2016 by Reza Zadeh, an adjunct professor at Stanford and a member of the founding team at Databricks, and is headquartered in Palo Alto, California. Its platform lets users build, deploy, and manage custom computer vision models — called detectors — without writing code, to search images and video for objects, people, events, and actions.

Matroid provides real-time notifications when an object of interest is detected and the ability to search past events, and is used across manufacturing, security, and visual inspection.
