SenseTime

SenseTime (HKEX: 0020) is one of the world's largest computer vision companies, co-founded in October 2014 by CUHK professor Tang Xiao'ou and Xu Li and headquartered in Hong Kong. Its technology spans facial recognition, image recognition, object detection, optical character recognition, medical image analysis, video analysis, autonomous driving, and remote sensing, built on its SenseCore AI infrastructure and SenseNova large-model family.

The business is organised into three sectors — generative AI, traditional AI, and smart auto. In the first half of 2025 SenseTime reported revenue of 2.4 billion yuan (about US$330 million), up 35.6% year on year, with its generative-AI division growing 72.7%.
